What is KPI Extension?
While KPI aggregation works for the same KPI, KPI Extension can get aggregated value up to the extended KPI from multiple KPIs from contributing OKRs.
For example, James may have a key result to generate $10M in Overall revenue. John and Jake who report to him may have $4M Sales revenue and $5M Ads revenue to achieve. In this case, we can use Overall revenue as an extended KPI for both KPIs. As John and Jake check-in periodically, James will be able to see the aggregated value for his key result, without bothering to review John or Jake’s OKRs.
