How does the "Exempted OKRs for Cockpit" feature works for users in Profit.co?
Category: OKRs
Profit.co provides the "Exempted OKRs for Cockpit" feature to handle cases where specific users who are not supposed to have any OKRs, are part of the OKR journey. It allows these users to be part of the OKR process without being shown as exceptions or anomalies. This feature ensures they are not penalized for not having OKRs.
Why this feature?
- The exempted feature in Profit.co offers valuable benefits. It streamlines onboarding by allowing new employees to learn without the immediate pressure of OKRs and supports role flexibility by enabling those in temporary roles to focus on their current responsibilities.
- For managers, it acknowledges their primary role in supervising and guiding their team, allowing them to concentrate on leadership and strategic oversight without the distraction of personal OKRs.
Charts preventing exempted users from appearing in cockpit:
Step 1
Navigate to Settings → User Management from the left navigation panel and switch to the Active Users tab.

On the active users page, choose the user you want to exempt and click the Edit icon.
For instance, if "David Schwimmer" has no OKRs and appears on the "Employees Without OKRs" chart, enable the toggle to remove his name from this list.

After that, the user will no longer appear in the "Employees Without OKRs" chart in the OKR cockpit.
