How to align an Objective as a sub-Key Result in Bottom-Up Alignment?

Category: OKRs provides an option to align an Objective as a sub-key result to another Key Result of an OKR.

Why this Feature?

By using this feature we can manage the dependencies in an effective way and The aligned sub-key result will be reflected in the Alignment flow graph.

Step 1:

Go to Settings → OKRs → Alignment & Dependencies.


In the Alignments and Dependencies Page, Enable the toggle Allow aligning an objective as a key result under another key result.


Step 2:

Hover the mouse over the Objective and click on the ellipses icon and choose the Align option. In the alignment section, select the option Align this objective under the target key result.


In Which OKRs do you want to align with window, Select the Key Result where you want to keep the objective as the sub-key result.


Step 3:

After the alignment, you can view the objective under the Key Result in which you aligned them.


Also, you can view it on the Alignments flow chart.


Note: you can also view the Objective and Key results overview page from the Alignments page itself by clicking on the respective Objectives and Key Results.
