How does Check-in Reminder notification work in Profit.co?

Profit.co provides a reminder feature that helps users to track their check-ins amidst their busy schedules. 

Why this feature?

  • The check-in notifications enable users to identify overdue check-in and ensure the check-in is complete. 
  • The check-in overdue alert bubble on the OKR List view page pops up adjacent to the key result indicating that the check-in is overdue.

There are two types of Check-in reminders,

Check-in due:

Users will be notified two days before their check-in due date on their OKR List view page.

Check-in overdue:

When the user fails to perform a check-in on the check-in day, the user will be notified as check-in overdue on their OKR List view page.

Note: The overdue check-in reminder will not appear after the last check-in date.

Step 1

Navigate to Settings → General → Action Center from the left menu and enable the toggle for "Pending Check-ins".

Step 2

Reminder for Check-in due

If the check-in date for the key result is on the next day or within two days the key result owner will be notified with a yellow-colored check-in due alert icon. 

This notification will appear until check-in is made to the KR.

Reminders for Overdue Check-ins

If the check-in for the key result is missed, the key result owner will be notified with a red-colored check-in overdue alert bubble. 

This notification will appear until check-in is made to the KR.

Related Action Center Notifications

When the check-in is missed, the key result owners will get notified in the Action Center. Click on the Action Center icon from the universal menu and you will find the key results with overdue check-ins.

Email notifications for overdue check-ins

When you enable Daily Summary Notification and the check-in for the key result is missed, the key result owner will also be notified through Email Notifications.

Note: If the key result has been assigned to a department, the check-in reminder and the E-mail notification will be sent to the Department head, Authorized users who can create OKRs and other members in that department.
