Why can't I add multiple KRs with the same KPI in an OKR ?

The main reason why we don't support this is ... because we support KPI extensions and aggregations. While aggregating Key Results from aligned OKRs if there are multiple KRs with the same KPIs, we won't be able to accurately aggregate up. KPI aggregation is a slightly advanced concept and documented here.
