How to modify Master Layout at Board and Workspace level in task?

Profit.co allows an option to add additional information while creating tasks in an existing board of a separate workspace.

Why this feature?

  • By using this feature, the users can add additional information while creating a new task in an existing board.
  • Adding additional information while creating a task is necessary to provide context and clarity, ensuring a shared understanding of objectives and requirements. 
  • Ultimately, it promotes alignment, and collaboration, and enhances the quality and accuracy of task execution.

Step 1

Navigate to the Setting → Task left navigation panel.

Switch over to the Master Layout tab, you can also add Sections. Drag and drop the required Attributes and click Save. 

You can also change the name of the added Attribute by clicking on them and in the Inspector tab, edit the Name and click Save.

If you create or edit a task inside the board, the input section for adding Additional Information will get reflected.

Note: Adding the Search attribute to the master layout enables a convenient selection of employees, offering the flexibility to choose between single or multi-select options.

Note: Repeat the same process for adding Attributes in the master layout for Workspace.
