Time-bound goals drive progress
Because an objective isn’t measurable in and of itself, you will need to define a specific deadline.
The best objectives are clearly time-constrained. Having a target date for completing your objective eliminates procrastination, and encourages focus. Additionally, this allows you to review your OKRs in cycles or periods.
With a review period, you can identify what is working and what isn’t. This allows time for adjustment and changing course in the next period if your objectives aren’t contributing to company progress as you hoped they would.
