Shared visibility maximizes the company’s performance on the whole and creates a shared sense of purpose by holding various teams accountable for doing quality work.

For example, while building a new product, the product team needs financial resources as well as Pointers to meet Product -market Fit. As such Finance and Marketing Departments should align with the Product team for this particular OKR.
