Increase User Base
In this video, we’ll write an OKR to Increase User Base. Customers are incredibly well informed, and have access to extensive information about all of the products and services they can choose to purchase. As the leader of the Sales Department, it’s your responsibility to ensure that your Sales team is focused on reaching customers and recruiting them. Increasing your user base can expand the reach of your company– this is an ambitious goal that needs specific, metric-based key results to help achieve it.
Here are the key results we can use:
- Increase inbound lead to sales conversion rate from 6% to 15% (increase inbound lead to sales conversion rate)
- Increase outbound leads from 20 to 130 (increase outbound leads)
Increase number of paid users from 400 to 10K (increase number of paid users)
Let’s input this first key result into the Profit.co software.
Input your Objective, and then create a new key result using the form. First, indicate the key result type you will be using. Because this key result has a number we would like to increase, we’ll select the Increase KPI key result type. Choose a KPI by pressing “Search & Select KPI”. This will open a pop up where you can search your KPI by name, or browse through KPI categories and select from the provided list.
Select a target date for completing your key result.
Then, modify your chosen KPI values to fit your specifications. In this case, we’ll increase number of paid users from 400 to 10K.
Based on the information you provided, the form will build a title for you. Make any necessary modifications, or add any desired context.
Then, you can indicate if you’d like to assign this key result to a specific employee by pressing the “Search & Select Assignee” button. You can search for an employee, team, or department using the search bar, or browse using the catalogue.
Finally, select the frequency with which you would like to complete check-ins, and press “Create”.
Now you have a specific, highly ambitious key result that will necessarily progress your Objective of Increasing your User Base. Here are the other key results that can help you achieve this goal–
