Improve Training for Frontline Employees

In this video, we’ll create the OKR “Improve Training for Frontline Employees”. HR’s duty to ensure that employees have what they need to be successful isn’t something that only has effects within the HR department– it’s something that has company-wide effects, and can greatly alter the experience of employees, the health of the work environment, as well as employee satisfaction and productivity. Such an important goal needs strong key results to keep you and your department on track.

The key results we could use to measure this Objective are:

• Achieve 100% Course Completion Rate for Frontline Employees
• 90% of Employees Achieve Pass Scores at the End of Training Quiz
• Increase Training Satisfaction Score from 70% to 90%

After entering your Objective, you’ll create a new key result using the form. Input the first key result title– Achieve 100% Course Completion Rate for Frontline Employees– and select the target date for completing this key result. Because this key result contains a metric we would like to achieve, we’ll select “Increase KPI” from the drop down menu. You can create a new KPI by pressing the plus sign symbol, or search for an existing KPI by browsing with the magnifying glass or searching the title. Indicate the percentage you’re at now–0%– and the percentage you’d like to achieve– 100%.
