How to enable and add OKR Dependencies?

Profit.co allows you to add dependencies to your OKRs. Users can include any OKRs as dependencies to progress their OKRs.

Why this feature?

• You can use this feature to create dependent OKRs and manage the dependencies with other teams/departments' OKRs. 
• It helps to streamline goal alignment and collaboration across teams, enhancing accountability, synergy, and overall organizational performance with dependent OKRs.

Step 1

To enable Dependencies, navigate to Settings → OKRs → Authoring from the left navigation panel.

In the Objectives Page, Enable OKR to OKR Dependencies toggle.

Once you have enabled the toggle you can set the OKR Dependencies

How to set dependencies for Objectives?

Navigate to the OKRs page and select the Objective for which you want to create a dependency. 

Select the Alignments tab and click on the Add OKR button in the Dependencies section.

A pop-up will appear, where you can choose the dependent Objective for your selected objective from the Department, Teams, or Employee OKRs. 

Once selected, click on Add.

How to set dependencies for Key Results?

Following the same process, Navigate to the OKRs page and select the Key Result you wish to create a dependency.

Select the Alignments tab and click on the + Add Key Result button in the Dependencies section.

A pop-up will appear, where you can choose the dependent Key Result for your selected Key Result from the Department, Teams, or Employee OKRs. 

Once done, click on Add.
