Enable AI Agents in Settings
Go to Settings → AI and enable the OpenAI|ChatGPT toggle. On the Services tab, click Manage. Only Super Users can enable AI Agents — check with your Profit.co admin if you don’t see this option.

Connect with your OpenAI API Key
Enter your OpenAI API key and click Update. The key will be validated and the OpenAI|ChatGPT connection will be established automatically.

Yes. Profit.co’s AI Agents are built on OpenAI’s API and are native to the platform — no third-party middleware required. When you enable AI Agents, Profit.co sends structured prompts to OpenAI and returns outputs directly inside your OKR workflow.
Yes. Once connected, Profit.co’s AI Progress Agent analyses signals from your connected tools — Jira, Salesforce, HubSpot — and generates progress updates automatically. You can also trigger the Progress Agent manually to summarise current status across all active OKRs.
Profit.co sends structured strategy prompts, OKR text, and performance data to OpenAI’s API to generate OKR drafts, quality scores, progress summaries, and review drafts. No personally identifiable employee data is sent unless you specifically enable the Performance Review drafting feature.
The AI Authoring Agent generates Key Results that map to Profit.co’s supported KPI types: Increase KPI, Decrease KPI, Percentage tracked KPI, and Milestone KPI. The Quality Agent evaluates all four types for clarity and measurability.

Yes. Once OpenAI is connected at the organisation level, all users in your Profit.co workspace can use AI Agents based on their role permissions. Super Users control which agents are enabled and for which teams.
