Enable in Settings
Go to Settings → Integrations → User Level tab and click the Excel Online Manage button. Only Super Users can enable integrations — check with your Profit.co admin if you don’t see this option.

Sign in with Microsoft
Go to Preferences → Integrations → Excel Online and click Sign in to Excel Online. Enter your Microsoft credentials. If you’re the Microsoft admin, grant org-wide consent so your team won’t need to repeat this step.

Map a cell to a Key Result
When creating a Key Result, select Automate Check-in and choose Excel Online. Pick your workbook, sheet, column, and row — Profit.co pulls that cell’s value every day at 9 AM in your timezone.

Yes. The Profit.co and Excel Online integration is built directly into the Profit.co platform — no third-party middleware required. You connect via your Microsoft account credentials, and the integration is available to all users once the Microsoft admin grants org-wide consent.
Yes. Once connected, select “Automate Check-in” on any Key Result and choose Excel Online as the data source. Profit.co reads the value from your selected cell and updates the key result automatically every day at 9:00 AM in your local timezone.
Profit.co reads numeric cell values from a workbook, sheet, column, and row that you specify. You can also optionally pull a second cell’s content as a check-in comment. The integration reads data only — it does not write to your spreadsheet.
The Excel Online integration supports three key result types: Increase KPI (e.g. grow revenue), Decrease KPI (e.g. reduce error rate), and Control KPI (e.g. maintain a target range). These cover the vast majority of metrics teams track in spreadsheets.

Yes. The Excel Online integration is configured at the User Level — each team member can connect their own Microsoft account to link their personal workbooks to their individual key results. Once the Microsoft admin grants org-wide consent, no further admin steps are needed for other users.
