Reflect/Resets
To enable reflect/resets, navigate from Settings → OKRs → Reflect/Reset.
Here you’ll find a list of template questions that can be enabled or disabled depending on the reason for the Reflect/Reset. You also have the option to create custom questions by selecting the “Create” button.
How do I reflect on an objective?
The first step to a reflect/reset is the reflection. This is where you detail your OKR experience in the questions provided. The questions are designed to encourage you to think about your actions throughout the period and what may be useful moving forward.
Click on the objective → Reflect/Reset Tab → Click on Reflect.
When you select the “Reflect” button, a window will open where you can answer the questions that have been enabled in the Settings.
How do I reset an objective?
To reset an objective, click on the objective → Reflect/Reset tab → click on Reset.
Once you choose to reset your objective, the reset window will open where you can choose to rename your objective, and reset your key results for the next period.
You’ll have four options for resetting your KRs: Extend it as is, Reset Progress, Complete and Close, or Add it to the Backlog.
If you choose to extend your key result as it is, it will continue your key result progress as it currently stands in the next period.
If you decide to reset your progress, you can make your current progress the starting point for moving forward next period.
Completing and closing your key result will mark it as completed and remove it from your OKR.
Lastly, if you choose to add it to the backlog, your key result will be moved to the OKR backlog where you can reactivate it at any time when you’re ready to put it back on your OKR page.
You can also change the check-in frequency for your key results during your reset. Once you’ve finished, press the reset button at the bottom of the page.
Once you’ve finished your reset, you’ll see your OKR added to the Resets page and the objective will be reset for the next quarter or year depending on your target date.
