Power Productivity with New Features in Profit.co:

PLAN

  • Color-Coded Icons for OKR Item Types: The OKR list view now uses distinct icons to instantly differentiate Objectives (blue), Key Result Initiatives (green), and Key Result KPIs (orange) — no more reading through each item to understand its type. Admins can customize icon and row colors via the Visual Configuration panel.
  • PPP Reviews Now Available for Child Objectives: The PPP review framework now extends to Child Objectives, completing full coverage across the entire OKR hierarchy. Owners can write, draft, clone, and export reviews at every level without routing updates through Parent Objective notes or external tools.
  • Quarterly Period Filtering for Balanced Scorecard: The BSC module now supports filtering by quarter, half-year, or annual view — matching the OKR module experience. Teams can toggle between inclusive and exact match modes for faster quarterly planning and board reporting.
  • BSC KPI Actual Values Now Color-Coded by Status: Actual So Far values in the BSC KPI view are now highlighted with the KPI’s health status color — green for On Track, orange for At Risk — giving instant visual context without opening individual records.
  • One-Click OKR Progress Report in PowerPoint: A new Key Results Summary Report template generates a professional PowerPoint directly from live OKR data in under 60 seconds, complete with color-coded status icons and latest check-in updates — replacing hours of manual copy-paste work.
  • Role-Based Visibility Inheritance for OKRs: Super Users, Department Heads, OKR Champions, and Cascade Owners can now automatically gain visibility into restricted OKRs based on their role and department scope — without manual access list management.
  • Own OKRs Privilege for StratEx Read-Only Users: Read-only users such as executives and board members can now be formally assigned as Objective owners, giving them strategic accountability without any write or check-in access.

PROCESS

  • Project Prioritization & Scoring in PPM: Projects can now be evaluated using a structured Value and Complexity scoring framework that auto-classifies them into four strategic quadrants. A Matrix view plots all scored projects visually, enabling faster and more objective portfolio decisions.
  • Personalized PPM Sidebar Navigation: Users can now pin or hide PPM menu items to create a focused sidebar tailored to their role. Changes apply instantly across all devices with no page reload required.
  • Default Landing Page for PPM: Users can set a preferred PPM landing page from their Profile Preferences, so every login routes directly to their primary working view — no repetitive manual navigation needed.
  • Selective Tollgate Stage Export: The Tollgate PDF download now lets users choose specific stages to export instead of always downloading everything. This produces focused, right-sized documents for every governance review.
  • Progress Bar Visible Directly in Task List: A Progress % column can now be enabled in the Task List and Gantt views, showing each task’s completion as a color-coded progress bar inline — no need to click into individual tasks.
  • Automatic Parent Task Status Synchronization: Parent task status now updates automatically based on subtask activity — moving to In Progress when the first subtask starts and to Completed when all subtasks finish, with no manual updates needed.
  • Dependency Cascade for Tasks and Milestones: When a predecessor task’s dates change, the system automatically cascades those changes to all downstream dependent tasks. A preview modal shows the full impact before any changes are committed.
  • Subtask Progress Roll-Up to Parent Tasks: Parent task progress now rolls up automatically from subtask completion values, creating an unbroken chain from the lowest subtask to the project level. Manual weighting per subtask is also supported.
  • Cost Center Management in PPM: Admins can now create and manage Cost Centers within PPM, defining the departments responsible for project costs. Once configured, Cost Centers are available for project assignment and Tollgate approval routing.
  • Cost Center Assignment at Project Level: Projects can now be linked to a Cost Center at creation or edit, connecting each project to the department accountable for its budget and ROI tracking across the portfolio.
  • Cost Center Owner as Tollgate Approver: Cost Center Owner is now a built-in approver role in Tollgate stage approval flows, ensuring the department responsible for a project’s budget has a formal sign-off at every phase gate automatically.
  • Foresight Library — Org-Wide Lessons Learned Knowledge Base: A new Foresight Library gives teams a searchable, org-wide repository of published lessons across all projects. Project Managers can browse, filter, and apply relevant entries directly to active projects.
  • Foresight Project Tab with AI-Assisted Entry Creation: Every project now has a dedicated Foresight tab for capturing lessons throughout the project lifecycle. Entries can be created manually or drafted by Athena AI based on recent check-ins and task updates.
  • Foresight Capture During Project Check-Ins: The project Check-in panel now includes an inline Foresight section, allowing teams to log lessons at the exact moment of reflection. Athena AI can suggest and draft entries based on the check-in comment and recent task data.
  • Foresight Settings & Approval Workflow: PPM Admins can now control the Foresight module from a dedicated settings page — including a master enable toggle, approval workflow configuration, and AI agent settings — all applying org-wide instantly.
  • Foresight Tracking Dashboard in Cockpit: A new Foresight Tracking section in the Cockpit gives portfolio managers a consolidated analytics view of how effectively lessons are being captured across the organization, broken down by category, type, and project.
  • Foresight Approval Notifications on Home Screen: When a Foresight entry is submitted for review, approvers see a pending action on their Home screen and can approve or reject inline without navigating to the project.
  • File Attachments in Tollgate Stages: Project teams can now attach documents directly to individual Tollgate stages, creating a structured document repository within the governance workflow. An optional rule can block stage advancement until at least one document is attached.
  • Visual Urgency Indicators for Tasks: Task lists now display color-coded urgency icons before task names, instantly flagging overdue, due-today, and due-this-week tasks across all task views with no configuration required.
  • Project Dependency Timeline with Gantt View: The Dependency Map now includes a Gantt View that plots all project-to-project dependencies on a time axis with connecting arrows. Schedule conflicts are flagged in real time, with a Cascade Preview before any date change is committed.
  • Role-Based Approvers in Standard Approval Flows: Approval flows can now dynamically route to project-specific roles — Project Owner, Portfolio Owner, Cost Center Owner, or Resource Type — resolved automatically at submission time, eliminating manual workarounds as project ownership changes.

PEOPLE

  • Not Applicable (NA) Option for Competency Assessments: Reviewers across all assessment types — Self, Manager, Peer, Matrix Manager, and Secondary Manager — can now mark individual competencies as Not Applicable. NA competencies are fully excluded from scoring, weighted averages, and progress calculations.
  • Terminology Update: “PMS” Renamed to “PM” Across the Platform: All references to “PMS” have been updated to “PM” across role names, system messages, pop-up text, and AI agent labels, delivering consistent and professional terminology throughout the application.
  • Review Notification Emails Now Show the Manager’s Name: Review notification emails now display the associated manager’s name as the sender — replacing the generic “Profit Action Center” label — significantly improving open rates, especially for external reviewers.
  • Auto-Create Development Activities for Low-Rated Competencies: When a competency is rated below a configured threshold during a review, the system automatically generates a targeted development activity in the employee’s IDP. Admins define the thresholds and activity templates once; the system handles the rest.
  • Multi-Owner Approval Flow for Goals: Goals with multiple owners now trigger two parallel flows — an approval flow to the creator’s manager and an accept/reject flow to each co-owner. Both operate independently, so manager approval is never delayed by co-owner responses.
  • OKR Association for Individual Development Plans: Development Plans can now be linked directly to OKRs, connecting employee growth activities to strategic objectives. OKR associations are visible throughout the IDP lifecycle, with editing locked during the Pending Acceptance stage.
