Power Productivity with New Features in Profit.co:
PLAN
- OKR Approval Flow — Email Notifications: Three new automated emails (Pending Approval, Approved, Rejected) close the silent-queue gap in the OKR Approval Workflow — Approvers are alerted the moment an OKR needs review, and Owners are notified the moment a decision is made.
- Strategy Roadmaps (New Module): A dedicated module linking strategic Themes and Sub-Themes to OKRs, with automatic bottom-up progress rollup, a Gantt/Alignment tree view, ownership-scoped notifications, and a full activity log.
- OKR Snapshot Panel — Inline Anomaly Rule Display: Each flagged Key Result in the anomaly panel now shows a color-coded rule badge (Status Mismatch, Overconfident, Over-flagged) directly on the row, with filtering/sorting by rule type — no more downloading an Excel export just to see why a KR was flagged.
- Interactive OKR Progress Tracker — Multi-Level Hierarchy & Stacked Status Visualization: A 3-level (Objective → KR → Sub-KR) tracker with color-coded stacked status bars and live drag sliders for real-time “what-if” scenario planning — no check-in commit required.
- Task Configuration: Archive Behavior: Admins choose Option A (hide Archive column, exclude from completion %) or Option B (keep visible, count archived tasks as done) — fixing previously understated OKR execution progress.
- Department OKR Creation — OKR Authors: A new precise permission tier lets department members propose OKRs with ownership-scoped edit/check-in rights, without full Champion-level access.
- Granular Check-in Date Restrictions: The old single “Restrict Check-in” toggle is now split into two independent controls — future-dated and retroactive check-ins (with a configurable day window) — so orgs no longer choose between strict governance and legitimate missed-entry corrections.
- Department-Level Check-in Review Layout: Admins can configure a distinct Check-in Review form per department, with the global Master Layout as automatic fallback.
- Relative Time Indicator for Last Check-in Date: Hovering the “Last Actual Check-in Date” column now shows human-readable relative time (“19 minutes ago,” “3 weeks ago”) for instant recency awareness.
- Edit OKRs Directly from Saved Views: Users can now update Objectives or Key Results inline from within a Saved View — no more navigating away to make routine edits.
- View All Check-ins from the OKR Quick-View Panel: The full check-in history — with On Time/Late/Missed filters — is now accessible in a single click from the quick-view drawer, replacing a 3–4 click detour to the KR detail page.
- Column Customization for KRs Progress Presentation – Hierarchical View: Admins can now select, reorder, and persist which columns (Owner, From, To, Progress %, Status) appear in the Slide 3 hierarchical presentation table.
- OKR Snapshot — Configurable Column Display & Status Label Enhancement: Downloaded PPTX snapshots now support up to 4 configurable columns (Progress, Planned, Actual, From/To) plus a text label alongside the status color block — making slides self-explanatory without a verbal walkthrough.
- Recent / All Check-in Tabs Reinstated in Presentation View: The Recent/All tab toggle — removed in an earlier UI simplification and flagged by customers as a regression — is back in the Presentation View check-in panel.
- Individual OKR Alignment to Department OKRs: Individual contributors can now align personal OKRs directly to department-level Objectives/KRs from the My OKRs view, closing a structural gap in the cascading model.
- Bi-Weekly Check-In Frequency Support: Bi-weekly is now a fully native, system-managed check-in cadence with anchor-day scheduling — eliminating manual Custom Frequency workarounds that took up to 8 minutes per KR per quarter.
- Objective Cloning UX Hardening: Three fixes — a disabled/tooltip state preventing confusing clone selections, richer activity-log fields (clone_mode, task_count_copied), and a persistent disclosure note clarifying clones are independent copies, not live mirrors.
- KPI Summary Drill-Down & Hierarchy View: BSC KPI rows aggregating multiple KRs now expand to show each contributing KR with its weighted calculation formula.
- OKR Progress Trend Column: A new optional sparkline column shows whether a goal is accelerating, stagnating, or declining across the full period.
- Enable Edit Option on Check-in Page: Edit or delete past check-ins directly from the check-in slide-over panel — no detour to the KR detail page.
- “Not Applicable” Roll-Up Mode for Sub-Key Results: A third roll-up mode fully decouples a parent KR from sub-KR progress calculations, for mixed hierarchies with informational/dependency-tracking KRs.
- Download Custom Widget Report in CSV Format: Custom Cockpit widgets can now export a single combined CSV — no more manually merging each constituent widget.
- New Control KPI Progress Calculation Type: Plan vs Actual: Control KPIs can track progress as planned ÷ actual, so the bar reflects budget pressure as spend approaches or exceeds plan.
- Contextual Email Notifications for KR Updates: Co-owners get real-time emails with a field-by-field Change Log whenever a shared KR is updated.
- Plan Sync Extended to Currency, Time, and Numeric Measurement Types: Automated plan synchronization — previously Percentage-only — now works across Currency, Time, and Numeric types.
PROCESS
- PPM Duration Tracking & Task Compliance: Automatic Planned/Actual Duration, Duration Variance, Delay Duration, and a Compliance badge turn “did we finish on time?” into a quantified, filterable, exportable metric across all hierarchy levels.
- Clone Project — Tollgate, Checklist & Dependencies Support: Cloning now carries over the full governance sequence, task checklists, and dependency chains (all default ON, individually toggleable) — turning a 30-minute manual rebuild into a 2-minute clone.
- Portfolio & Project Visibility — Access Inheritance, Department Visibility & Observer Classification: Adding a user or department to a portfolio now cascades visibility automatically across every project inside it, and Observers are now excluded from member counts and capacity data by default.
- PPM Executive Leadership Dashboard — 8 C-Level Widgets: A purpose-built CIO/CTO dashboard organized into Zone 1 (Project Health Scorecard, Budget vs Actuals, EVM Summary, Risk Radar) and Zone 2 (OKR–Project Alignment, Demand Pipeline, Capacity vs Demand Forecast, Multi-Project Resource Conflicts) — replacing manual cross-tab spreadsheet assembly.
- Exclude Status from Progress Percentage Calculation: Any task status (e.g., Archived, On Hold, Cancelled) can now be excluded from progress roll-ups at every hierarchy level, so inactive or removed scope no longer drags down completion %.
- Enable / Disable Archived Task Status: Super Users can now enable/disable the Archived status from Settings just like any other status — full taxonomy control with zero risk to existing task data.
- Plan view — Filter Enhancement: Filter large Gantt views by Stage, Priority, Owner, Health, Progress %, Tags, Type, and planned dates, with live updates and removable filter chips.
- Plan view — Column Customization: Show, hide, reorder, and search columns in the Plan view.
- Workspaces Sidebar — Tree View: Nested workspaces now display in a collapsible tree.
- Expanded Approver Options in Project Closure Approval Flow: Project Owner and Portfolio Owner are now available as approver types, aligning with the Requests module.
- Automated Tollgate-to-Milestone Mapping: Project templates can map milestones to tollgate stages once — every project from that template inherits it automatically.
- Filters on the Request Pages: My Requests and All Requests share the same filter panel as the Plan view, with saved, persistent filters.
- Same Approver Across Multiple Sequential Approval Stages: An “Approval Carried Forward” mechanism intelligently handles repeat approvers across stages — no redundant approvals.
- PPM Cockpit — Unified Dashboard: A leadership dashboard combining portfolio, pipeline, health, and trend widgets on one exportable, drill-down-ready screen.
- Risk & Issue Creation Page — Redesign: Creating a Risk or Issue is now one focused modal with a live Risk Level matrix, inline Response capture, and task linking.
- Tollgate Library — Enhancement: Tollgates are now a reusable library — define once, use across many sequences, non-destructive enable/disable.
- Request Page — Revamp: A new sortable/filterable Requests table, streamlined Create Request modal, and consolidated detail page with a stage tracker carrying through to the converted project.
PEOPLE
- Review Submission Status Reports: HR Admins/HRBPs get a single-screen view of who has and hasn’t submitted across an entire review cycle — every assessment type — plus two exportable reports (HR Dashboard Review Report, Review Stat Report).
- Reopen Assessment for External Reviewers: HR Admins, Managers, and Reviewees can now reopen a completed External Reviewer assessment for correction — fully audit-logged, with no backend intervention needed.
- OKR Visibility Enforcement in Performance Reviews & Employee 360: OKR visibility settings (Public, My Management, My Directs, My Team, Access List) are now enforced everywhere assessments and Employee 360 pages display OKRs — not just within the OKRs module.
- Survey: Chart Type Now Optional for All Question Types: Admins can set “No Chart” for structured-data questions (names, IDs) while keeping full response data in exports.
- Role-Based Add-on Privilege Management: Add-on privileges (Bowler Chart, Cockpit/OKRs Program Status, Cockpit–Department Access) can now be assigned at the role level, inherited automatically within 60 seconds.
- Group Management: Create reusable named groups of people, departments, or other groups — usable across OKRs, Tasks, and PPM assignee fields.
