Power Productivity with New Features in Profit.co:
Plan (OKRs, BSC, and Strategy Roadmaps)
- Flexible Check-ins for Milestone Key Results : You no longer have to wait for a scheduled check-in date to log milestone progress. Ad-hoc check-ins can now be added anytime between scheduled dates, so teams can capture wins as they happen.
- Module Linkage Between BSC & OKR : Choose whether an objective appears in OKRs only or across both Balanced Scorecard and OKR modules – objective by objective. Great for teams that use different strategic frameworks across departments.
- KPI Board Creation for All Users : All users (except Read-Only) can now create KPI Boards directly from the KPI Summary section – no more depending on Super Users. The board creator becomes the owner and retains full edit and delete rights.
- OKR Fulfillment Score Slider : The fulfillment score slider now shows a visual indicator when weightage is enabled, making it easy to spot under- or over-assigned weights at a glance. A tooltip shows the exact unassigned or excess percentage, with a quick “Adjust Weights” link to fix it instantly.
- Cockpit for Strategy Roadmaps : Cockpit-style dashboards are now available in the Strategy Module. Enable the Roadmap Cockpit from Settings to access 4 initiative-based charts and 3 summary cards for executive-level visibility into strategy execution.
PROCESS(Tasks, PPM, Timesheets, Notes, Meetings)
- Portfolio-Level Risk Management : A centralized Risk Log is now available at the portfolio level. View and manage risks across all projects in one place, with bi-directional sync between portfolio and project views.
- Critical Path Visualization for Project Tasks : Project managers can now toggle “Show Critical Path” in the Gantt view to instantly highlight tasks that directly impact the project deadline. The path auto-updates as dependencies or dates change.
- Flexible Approval Workflows : Two new approval enhancements: (1) Parallel flow – all approvers in a sequence can approve simultaneously, and (2) Custom thresholds – set a minimum number of approvals needed to move forward (e.g., 5 out of 30).
- Project Engagement by User Widget Enhancement : The widget now shows Total Projects, Owned Projects, and Contributed Projects per team member – making capacity planning and accountability much clearer.
Schedule Variance Charts in Cockpit
Three new charts have been added to Cockpit for deeper project timeline visibility: On-Time Delivery (planned vs. actual end dates), Completion Performance (historical deadline adherence), and Start Performance (planned vs. actual start dates). - Weighted Portfolio Progress Calculation : Projects within a Portfolio or Sub-Portfolio can now be assigned weights, so overall progress is calculated based on strategic importance – not just equal contribution from every project.
- Approval Flow for Tollgates : Approval Flow is now enabled for Toll Gates. Predefined approvers are automatically populated when a Toll Gate is triggered, eliminating manual selection and ensuring consistent governance at every project stage.
- PPM Read-Only User Role : A new PPM Read-Only role gives stakeholders and auditors secure view-only access to Portfolios and Cockpit dashboards – without the ability to create, edit, or delete any data.
PEOPLE(PMS, Goals, Development Plans, Recognition, Survey)
- Customizable Email Templates for Review Reminders : HR teams can now fully customize the subject and body of performance review reminder emails, including dynamic fields like employee name, review name, and pending assessments.
- Flexible Reminder Settings for Active Reviews : Reminder configurations can now be edited even after a review is initiated – including setting a maximum number of reminders (up to 20) or turning them off entirely mid-cycle.
- Goal Auto-Inheritance : If a cadence closes and team members haven’t created goals, enabling the “Inherit Manager’s Goals” toggle automatically assigns the manager’s goals – including existing progress – to all direct subordinates. No more empty goal sheets.
- Goal Authoring Window Enhancement : Admins can now configure the goal planning horizon by Quarter or Year. The system automatically displays the exact start and end dates based on the configured duration, eliminating manual date calculations.
- Goal Progress Tracking – Bowler Chart View : A new Bowler Chart View is now available in the Goals section, visually tracking progress against targets across the goal timeline. Check-in values are automatically reflected in the chart, making annual goal tracking more intuitive.
- Achievement-Based Overall Rating : Overall Rating calculations now support configurable weightage. If weightage is enabled, each assessment type (Self, Manager, Peer, etc.) contributes to the final rating based on its assigned percentage, giving organizations full control over evaluation influence.
Framework
- Sub-Department as Default Landing Page : Users with access to a specific sub-department can now have it set as their default landing page. Upon login, they’re taken directly to their relevant department view, reducing unnecessary navigation and improving focus.
- Department-Level Privileges in User Management : Assign OKR Champion and Check-in User roles by department directly from the User Management page – no more navigating to each department individually.
- Enhanced User Creation Source Tracking : The System Information panel now shows exactly how a user was created – manually, via bulk import, or through an integration sync (e.g., Okta, Azure AD).
Enhancements
- Weightage Now Exports at All Levels: OKR exports (Excel, CSV, PDF) now include complete weightage data across all hierarchy levels – parent objectives, child objectives, Key Results, and sub-Key Results. No more missing prioritization data.
- Updated Email Sender Address : All Action Center notifications now come from noreply@profit.co instead of info@profit.co – clearer, more professional, and better for email deliverability.
- Export History for Survey Dashboard : Track the status of survey data exports and download completed files directly from the Export History panel – no more re-exporting or wondering if a large export finished.
- Locale-Aware Number & Currency Formatting : Users can now select their preferred regional number format (US/UK, European, French/Swedish, or Indian) from Preferences. The setting applies platform-wide across all modules.
- Projection Status in Canvas & Alignment Views : OKR projection status indicators – previously only visible in List View – now appear as colored dot markers in both Canvas View and Alignment View, so at-risk OKRs are visible wherever you work.
- Aligned vs. Unaligned OKR Data in Cockpit : Cockpit now shows which Key Results are aligned or unaligned based on hierarchical connections across departments – both direct and cascading. Leaders can quickly identify gaps in OKR alignment across the organization.
- Enhanced Rating Visibility Controls : Rating visibility settings now apply consistently across both the detailed review page and summary cards – so scores stay hidden (or visible) everywhere, not just in one spot.
- Column Customization for All Development Plans : Show or hide columns across Individual Development Plans, Performance Improvement Plans, and Succession Development Plans. Preferences are saved for future sessions.
- Instant Confirmation for Column Customization : Adding or removing columns in OKR list views now shows an instant tooltip confirmation – green for added, standard for removed. No more guessing if your change actually went through.
