Profit.co’s integration with Google Tasks enables a one-way sync, allowing task data from Google Tasks to be captured directly in Profit.co. This ensures better visibility and centralized tracking by bringing external task updates into your Profit.co workspace.
What can you do with the Google Tasks <> Profit.co Integration?
- Capture tasks created or updated in Google Tasks directly inside Profit.co.
- Bring task details into your Myspace for improved tracking and visibility.
Note:Only Super Users can configure the Profit.co <> Google Tasks integration.
Integrating Google Tasks with Your Profit.co Account
You can integrate Google Tasks with both Tasks and OKRs in Profit.co.
How to Integrate Google Tasks with Profit.co Tasks
Step 1
Navigate to Settings from the left navigation panel, click Integrations, select the User Level tab, and click the Google Tasks Configure button.

After clicking Configure, a pop-up will appear.
Google Tasks to Profit.co:
With both Create and Update selected, tasks created in Google will sync to Profit.co, and any updates made in Google will be reflected in the corresponding tasks inside Profit.co.
After enabling it, go to Preferences from the left navigation panel, select the Integrations tab, and click Google Tasks Manage to establish the connection.
Step 2
To create a new connection, click Sign in to Google Tasks.

You will be redirected to the connection page.
Enter a Connection Name and sign in to your Google Tasks account. The connection will then be established.


To sync Google Tasks with Profit.co:
Navigate to Tasks → My Space from the left navigation panel. All tasks under My Space in Google Tasks will be synced to Profit.co at a 5-minute interval.
- Click the Google icon, then
- Click the Refresh icon to sync Google Tasks with Profit.co.


Note:
- The initial sync from Google to Profit.co will occur within 30 minutes, and tasks will appear under My Tasks in Profit.co.
- After the initial sync, tasks will sync daily at 9 AM.
- You can also manually trigger a force sync from Google Tasks to the My Tasks page.
How to Integrate Google Tasks with Profit.co OKRs
Step 1
- Enter the Key Result name.
- Choose the desired Key Result type and KPI.
- Select Automate Check-ins and choose Google Tasks from the connection dropdown.

A pop up page will appear, here fill in the following details, choose Connection name, List and Status. By selecting the status the current value will be fetched and it’ll be generated.
Once you click Add.

Click Update and save your key result.

Step 2
Once the key result is created, click Check-in to update its status value.


You’ll be redirected to the review page. Update it to make progress toward your key result.
